One of the interesting things about my practice is the rhythm of conditions that I see. There will be a flurry of adrenal clients, followed by several gall bladder issues, then a rash (no pun intended) of gluten challenges. Lately, there has been an increase in inquires about ADD/ADHD and Autism. Many parents with concerns about putting their child on medication and questioning if nutrition can really make a difference. ABSOLUTELY!!!
Research has shown a distinct link between the health of the gut and ADD/ADHD & Autism. These conditions can be greatly improved through the application of nutritional protocols. Children with ASD/ADD/ADHD often have one or more of the following nutritional imbalances:
– Mineral and vitamin deficiencies
– Toxic metal accumulation
– Stimulants in the diet
– Junk food or other improper diet
– Hidden infections
– Chronic candida albicans infection
– Food or environmental allergies
– Rapid rate of metabolism
– Nutritional imbalances passed on at birth.
– Structural imbalances correctable through chiropractic or osteopathic methods.
Nutritional Therapy 1:1 works with children and their families to assess deficiencies and recommend a course of therapy that will clear toxins, support health and bring the body systems back into balance allieviating many of the conditions associated with ADD & Autism.
